Kofi Annan's true colors

Not hard to believe this !
Kofi Annan has shown his true colors now , as if we didn't already know . He has issued a statment suggesting that Israel intentionally targeted the UN Peacekeeper's post in a bombing raid in South Lebanon . Is he unaware of the policy of the terrorists to station themselves close to such places in hopes that they won't get bombed , or at the least when they do and innocents are killed and wounded , they can use it against Israel ?
Read about it here from the Reuters Alert Net .
And read this from Wizbang .

All this attention to an accidental situation hides the fact that Hezbollah fired scores , if not dozens of rockets into Israel during the same time period . It is well known that they have little or no tracking capabilties for their rockets and kill or maim many innocents themselves ( and by design , I might add ! ).
The UN , by acting this way is legitimizing terrorism , and do we think they will be fair if they are set up to organize a full peace-keeping force in the area ?
Read this from The Chicago Tribune :
"Part of the goal of organizations like Hezbollah and Hamas is to gain moral legitimacy for their terrorist tactics by having them equated with the conventional military tactics used by democratic regimes. Only the morally obtuse--or perverse--cannot recognize the difference between a terrorist group that targets civilian population centers with anti-personnel weapons designed to maximize civilian casualties and a democracy that seeks to prevent terrorism by employing smart bombs designed to minimize civilian casualties.".."Annan knows better than to suggest a moral equivalence. He is fully aware of the tactic employed by terrorists of launching their rockets from, and hiding behind, civilian shields, so as to make democracies have to kill some civilians to get at the terrorists."

That tells us the tale in a nutshell ! Source-
