I enjoy being a member of Guru Shots, even though I don't rank very high.It is a pleasure to compete with much better photographers and now and then place near the top of my rank. This shot was #4 in my rank in a recent contest- "Unconventional Angles".

Trees in and near a park.

I have not been out shooting sunrises and sunsets much lately, so yesterday I captured a few images of a sunset near home.

Just shooting around the house. A large nest in a tree empty of leaves for winter and a closeup of a "Nine Hole Brick" from the demolition of the local movie theater.

I like to produce abstract and minimalist photos.

New macro photos

I bought a Canon EF 100mm Macro lens in a Pawnshop. Learning to shoot better macro with it.

I took my grandson, Brett Bush,on a photo ramble last Saturday. We visited Demi-Jon Island, Bastrop Marina, Hoskin's Mound, and the 2004 Chcolate Bayou Bridge. Brett took some outstanding photos on his own. A budding young photographer, he is able to visualize, compose, and capture images. All these were taken by Brett.
