I haven't been shooting many pictures lately due to a knee problem. That is being addressed now and I will be more productive soon.
Here are two recent shots that I like, A bunch of red in the clouds after a sunset, and some Lantana blooms on our fence,

Colorful Wisteria blooms are all over Alvin, Texas.

Magnolias are blooming around Alvin, Texas, and this one is near Froberg's Funeral Home. Magnolia is a large genus of about 210 flowering plant species in the subfamily Magnolioideae of the family Magnoliaceae. It is named after French botanist Pierre Magnol.

Beautiful Lilies seen on the way to the dentist Thursday morning.

Butterfly Flower seedpod

Made a visit just down our street to see Mr. & Mrs. Howard Johnson. Her flowers and his yard work are always great to see, and offer plenty of photo opportunities. Masca gnia macroptera. Butterfly vine seed pods really do look like butterflies.

These twins vie for the emerging sunlight this morning after a night of rain. The dew is still on them, but they are ready for a sunny day.

Been watching this old Wisteria vine lately, because it is a sure sign that Spring is here when the Wisteria blooms.

For the Monday Photo Challenge-Floral/End of Summer- This butterfly is getting the last drops of nectar in preparation for fall , when egg-laying is its last job in the life cycle. The pollen distributed by the butterfly will be spread throughout the area, and contribute to the new flowers of next Spring and Summer.
