Here is what I posted Thursday -

"Officials of the Shiite militia told reporters in Lebanon yesterday that they had no intention of disarming but would melt into the population and not flaunt their weaponry, much as they had before.

They also said the Lebanese army had agreed not to diligently search for Hezbollah weapons caches."
Now we see this -

The Israelis said that "the aim of the operation had been to disrupt terrorist activities against Israel and to prevent arms from being transported to Hezbollah from Iran and Syria." Any such resupply effort would itself violate the cease-fire resolution passed last Monday by the UN Security Council.
In The Herald Tribune!

According to the UN , Israel has no right to stop rearmament of Hezbollah , despite the UN resolution saying they must disarm , and that Lebanon must disarm them .
Israel apparently has info that arms shipments were being brought in in a smuggling operation . A direct violation of the cease-fire much more damaging than Israel attacking the smugglers .
Do we see any change in the inneffective UN ?
